URI-Asset Manager - URI-Asset Manager is a web-based solution that provides unique
capabilities for operational personnel to effectively control, manage, and maintain a company's asset base.
Its structure allows it to operate as a stand alone solution or fully integrated with other ERP systems
such as SAP, Oracle, or other mid-tier ERP applications. Since its original development, the system has
been successfully deployed in several major public organizations and in the energy industry sector.
Key differentiating features include:
- Assets identified through a location hierarchy that is GIS enabled
- Ease in moving an asset from one location to another, keeping all associated information intact
- Ability to associate system defined assets to a specific location
- Documentation index and library to identify all documents associated with an asset
- Work requests and work orders created over the web with mobile devices
- Material inventory tracking (assets)
- Asset / sub-asset relationships
- Division of ownership tracking up to 8th decimal place
URI-Asset Manager consists of seven key modules that enable companies to successfully manage all
its assets, including facilities, production equipment, asset inventories, integral utility
consumption (electric, gas, water, etc.), transportation assets, and computer assets aligned with
their business objective.
Typical benefits resulting from implementation include better asset utilization, enhanced asset
reliability and availability, reduced asset maintenance costs, improved workforce productivity,
more effective management and optimization of spare part inventory, extended asset life, and
increased return on assets.
URI-Facilities Manager was an outgrowth of the asset management system to meet the operational
needs of one of our clients. It expands the asset management solution by adding and reconfiguring
modules to include life-cycle analysis, facility assessment, and a facility management module.
In a similar manner to URI-Asset manager, the solution is web-based and is driven from an
operational perspective (as opposed to financial driven perspective) of facility management.
